Chad Geren is the C.E.O & General Manager of QUANTUM and is home based in Dubai. Mr. Geren is an 11-year veteran of the mining and minerals business all across Africa and South America. Mr. Geren is the former CEO of two respective mining companies in West Africa from 2013 until 2021. Mr. Geren is a former US military veteran of 11 years, and has been both the CFO and COO of 4 American real estate & entertainment companies before entering into the minerals business in 2012. Mr. Geren has conducted various business dealings in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Mr. Geren holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Columbia Southern University.
Tobias Dybowski, known in the Diamond Industry as “Toviah”, has joined the Quantum Gold & Diamonds L.L.C. team as Director of Global Diamond Operations. Toviah is well known, in the international diamond trade, as a rough and polished diamond specialist. A third-generation diamond expert, who grew up with some of the masters of the World Diamond Federation. Being taught by recognized industry experts and specialist, Toviah has now added more than two decades of experience, worldwide, in the international diamond trade business to his unique background, gaining the reputation as a reliable elite level expert in both the grading/evaluating process, as well as trading rough and polished diamonds, having worked for a number of the major industry leaders within the global diamond trade business.
Toviah specializes in 2 Grainer to 8 Grainer – 5 to 10 Carat rough diamonds and Special Stones, ranking from 15 Carat upwards single piece(s) reaching 100 to 300 Carat stones, very rare in the diamond world. Utilizing the Sarine Galaxy, Yehuda Colorimeter, The Sherlock Holmes 2.0 CVD & HPHT Detector by Yehuda, and the SCANOX Tender I 200 by OGI Systems Ltd, Toviah has the knowledge, training and experience to handle large parcels or high-end stones for sorting, grading and advisor on the cutting process, including the design.
Toviah is home based in Dubai, as well as working out of Johannesburg and Gaborone. Mr. Dybowski has worked in the Diamond business, from Israel to Botswana, US to Belgium/Switzerland and the UAE to South Africa.
John (Rocky) Hollingshead, the Chief Financial Officer of QUANTUM, is currently home based in Texas. Rocky is a veteran of the mining and mineral business in Africa and was co-founder/CFO of two respective mining companies in West Africa from 2013 until 2021. Rocky was formerly a Board member/advisor of RNGS International (UK), part of Rosneftegazstroy JSC, and the CFO of a US-UK group bidding for Nigerian offshore Block OML 122, adjoining Bonga and Bonga West concessions; then purchased, from a UK public company, two existing US oilfields. Mr. Rocky followed the prior mentioned ventures being the Co-founder/CFO of new software technology group, at the behest of a US DOD think-tank. Former US military veteran, he has been the co-founder/funding partner/CFO in many ventures in the US, Canada, Russia, the UK, and in Africa. Mr. Hollingshead holds an Associate of Arts Degree from University of NY State/Albany (Army), a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (Accting/Mkting) from University of Texas/Austin, and continued in the Finance/Tax graduate program, at the UT/Austin, School of Business.
