DAIMOND TRADING OPERATIONS

Quantum principals have decades of experience in the diamond business, in the mining side, the grading/evaluation process, the cutting process and wholesale side of both rough and polished stones. QUANTUM’s Director of Global Diamond Operations, Tobias “Toviah” Dybowski, is well-known in the industry, a third-generation diamond grader/cutter, with approaching three decades of personal experience in the entire MTM (Mine To Market) process of the international diamond business. With experience in Europe, Africa, Israel, the USA and in the UAE, his contacts and reputation are significant.

Quantum has developed a basis of rough diamond supply, with over a dozen significant long term mining operations, across Africa, including multiple sources and South America, Botswana, Ghana, Uganda, Zambia, Angola, Guinea, Niger, Tanzania and Nigeria. Additional SOURCE side negotiations are in process, with substantial mining operations, in several other countries across Africa.

Quantum is in the business of being a stable trading partner for establishing significant long term contractual sources and off-take opportunities. QUANTUM has the capacity, to add value at every level in the diamond life cycle. Located in Dubai, one of the world’s elite diamond markets, QUANTUM is well positioned to be a substantial trading partner for both ends of the wholesale international diamond business.

Quantum is only interested in sourcing our gold and diamond purchases directly with mid-level or above mining companies. Therefore, Quantum has no interest in any business dealings with brokers and/or non-decision making representatives of any kind. QUANTUM will, on occasion, be interested in significant gold and/or rough diamond “spot” opportunities as they develop from mining companies, which typically are transactions with “short windows” with interesting potential upside.
